Research on ADR1s helps understanding the plant immune network

چکیده

Abstract Plant innate immunity begins with the recognition of pathogens by plasma membrane localized pattern-recognition receptors (PRRs) and intracellular nucleotide-binding domain leucine-rich repeat containing (NLRs), which lead to pattern-triggered (PTI) effector-triggered (ETI), respectively. For a long time, PTI ETI have been regarded as two independent processes although they share multiple components signal outputs. Increasing evidence shows an intimate link between ETI. mutually potentiate each other, this is essential for robust disease resistance during pathogen infection. An ancient class NLRs called RNLs, so named because carry Resistance Powdery Mildew 8 (RPW8)-like coiled-coil (CC) in N terminus, has emerged key node connecting RNLs not only act helper that downstream sensor NLRs, also directly mediate signaling associating PRR complexes. Here, we focus on Activated Disease 1 (ADR1), subclass discuss its role mechanism plant immunity.

Tracing Actions Helps in Understanding Interactions

Integration of new utterances into context is a central task in any model for rational (human-machine) dialogues in natural language. In this paper, a pragmatics-first approach to specifying the meaning of utterances in terms of plans is presented. A rational dialogue is driven by the reaction of dialogue participants on how they find their expectations on changes in the environment satisfied b...

The role of microRNAs and phytohormones in plant immune system

The plant-pathogen interaction is a multifactor process that may lead to resistance or susceptible responses of plant to pathogens. During the arms race between plant and pathogens, various biochemical, molecular and physiological events are triggered in plant cells such as ROS signaling, hormone activation and gene expression reprogramming. In plants, microRNAs (miRNAs) are key post-transcript...

Understanding the Immune System

Individuals with hemophilia are deficient in one of the clotting factor proteins that are vital in the formation of a clot. Classic hemophilia or hemophilia A is a deficiency of factor VIII, while Christmas Disease or Hemophilia B is a deficiency of factor IX. The deficiency of one of these proteins comes about because of a mutation on the X chromosome. Patients with both types of hemophilia ar...
